Participate in the City’s 2008 Capital Budget process

The City of Toronto is now considering the 2008 Capital Budget and 2009 to 2012 Capital Plan. This five-year plan determines the capital projects the City will undertake to maintain and improve City assets, including roads, bridges, transit, community centres and libraries.

There are several ways to have your opinion considered:

1. Make a public presentation to the Budget Committee at its Capital Budget Hearing:

Please contact the Budget Committee at 416-392-7340 by noon on November 12 if you intend to make a public presentation. There will be a five-minute presentation time limit.

2. Submit a written presentation to:

3. Send a letter or e-mail to your local City Councillor:
